Forklift AI wired monitoring system
The permanent installation. AI detection cameras hard-wired to a quad-view recording monitor, each camera carrying the detection engine and its own alarm on board. No battery to charge, no radio link to lose — the specification for trucks that work every shift and for cameras that must never drop out.

The AI is inside the camera
Most AI detection systems need a host box, a dedicated display and a wiring loom running back to it. In this system the AI processing, the detection zones and the audible alarm are all built into the camera itself.
That has two consequences worth the specification. A camera can be added to a truck that already has an AHD monitor or DVR — the full-HD video arrives with the detection stripes and the pedestrian warning box already drawn on it, and nothing else is needed in the loop. And on a new installation, each camera keeps working on its own terms: one channel failing does not take the detection with it.
The detection engine does not only look for a full standing figure. It detects individual body parts — head, arms, legs — and recognises postures such as squatting or bending down, which is precisely where warehouse detection normally fails. Cyclists are detected as well as pedestrians.
Detection range is adjustable anywhere from 0.5 to 20 m, and the coloured stripes marking each zone can be set to match the real risk area on the machine. Calibration runs from a web page over the camera's own Wi-Fi hotspot, so setup needs nothing more than a phone or laptop on the floor.
Because everything is wired, there is no battery to charge at shift change and no radio link to lose in a racked aisle. The camera is rated IP69K against high-pressure, high-temperature washdown and 5.9 G vibration to ISO 16750-3:2012, so the same specification works in a chilled store, a yard and a washdown bay.

Request a quote
Tell us how many trucks already carry a monitor and we quote the retrofit and the full installation separately.
Supplied equipment
Check the delivery against this list on arrival. Camera count and cable lengths are set per truck at quotation.

Retrofit, camera only
Where a monitor or DVR is already fitted, the camera goes in on its own — detection and alarm arrive with the video.
External loudspeaker
Carries the alarm outside the cab so people on the floor hear it, not only the driver.
Micro SD capacity
Up to 128 GB, specified with the order according to how long footage must be retained.
Confirm the camera count with us
Tell us which sides need covering and whether a monitor is already fitted, and we set the kit per truck.
